How to use this workbook
This workbook is designed for new Super Users and Site Administrators to become familiar with the Pentana Performance environment and introduce some of the key concepts and terminology used with this software.
You should work through this training before you attend the System Administrator Training courses to ensure you get the best experience from your session.
Navigating this Workbook
The Introductory Workbook has been designed to introduce you to Pentana Performance functionality in a logical order.
In the top right of the screen you will see a Next link, together with a direct link to the next topic. The first time you access this Workbook use these links to navigate through the content.
If you are revisiting the Workbook to refresh your knowledge, individual topics may be accessed via the search function in the left hand navigation.

Each section will have an introduction. Read this to find out about each subject.
At the bottom of the page there are extra panels to click on.
•Watch it!
Expand the Watch it panel to use the interactive tutorial.
If this icon is displayed, the tutorial has audio commentary.
•Try it!
Expand the Try it panel and follow the links to training lessons that walk you through the different topics using the Pentana Performance Training system.
